OUR STORY

Dian Wahlen, Managing Director

Dian started her career in communications as Press Officer & Congress Organizer for K.VIV, the Flemish Professional Associations of Civil Engineers. For 5 years she was responsible for generating, organizing & promoting conferences, seminars and exhibitions in different fields & industries - both with a national and international scope. Later she joined NCR as a Communication Manager, where she acquired expertise in the marketing of hardware, software & services. After moving on to Solid Automation, an NCR partner, she faced the challenge of building up a brand new communications department.

In 1993 she started a communication agency: Leads United.  Valued by both the media and its clients, Leads United is proud of its impressive portfolio of major league clients e.g.  IBM, eBay, Benecol, Truvo, Danone, Samsung, Getronics, GE Healthcare, Scania, Capco, Delcredere/Ducroire, Pentair Pool Products Europe, etc.

In 2007 Dian Wahlen was elected President of the Board of Directors of the Belgian Public Relations Consultants Association (BPRCA). In her little spare time she enjoys sports & motor biking.

In 2008, she founded Blackline, the social media agency of Leads United.

Leads United is a communication agency with a clear goal in mind - highlighting our clients’ brands, ideas and activities in the minds of the relevant target audiences. Leads United was formed in 1993 and currently operates in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. Media relations, internal communication and crisis communication form the core of our business.

From their initial high-tech and Internet portfolio, they have grown into a full-service agency working for major-league clients in a wide range of sectors, government bodies and non-profit organisations.
